The GSX750EF was the faired version of the 16-valve GSX750E, introduced with a new lighter air/oil-cooled engine, redesigned frame and Full Floater rear suspension. A 16 inch front wheel gave quick steering, and a 1984 update brought a fuller fairing. Testers praised its smooth engine and handling but criticised weather protection, switchgear and the cold-weather grip of the standard tyres.
