The GSX750F was the sensible sibling of the GSX-R750: a fully faired, air/oil-cooled four with a six-speed box and a low price. Road testers found it soft at low revs but strong above about 7,000 rpm, with predictable handling and good brakes. Its styling and passenger accommodation drew criticism. The 1995-97 years were the last of the first-generation shape before the 1998 restyle.
