The Katana 750 of this period was an air-cooled 16-valve four wearing the angular, pop-up-headlight styling that arrived in 1984. The 1985 model was mostly a cosmetic refresh with new paint and a fuel gauge. It paired a smooth, torquey engine with a 16-inch front wheel and Full-Floater rear suspension, and was seen as good value rather than a top-speed leader.
