The 2006 GSX-R600 was an all-new bike with a new compact engine, five-piece cast aluminium frame, longer swingarm and an under-engine exhaust with a servo valve. Front discs grew to 310 mm with radial calipers, and it gained a back-torque-limiting clutch and a lower, narrower layout.
