The SP was the sharper, race-homologation flavour of the 1994 GSX-R750 WR, still using the aluminium double-cradle frame and water-cooled four. Wikipedia describes the SPR as having wide-mouth TRM40 carburettors, a close-ratio gearbox, magnesium engine covers, six-piston front calipers and a braced swingarm. Production was limited and it was aimed at racers rather than everyday road riders.
