The GSX-RR is Suzuki's factory MotoGP prototype, which brought the marque back to the premier class in 2015 with a crossplane-crank inline-four in an aluminium twin-spar chassis. Over its first seasons the bike gained power, lost some weight and changed from 16.5 in to 17 in wheels and from Bridgestone to Michelin tyres. It was a racing-only machine run by Ecstar Suzuki riders such as Maverick Vinales and Andrea Iannone.
