The final years of the first-generation GSX-S1000 naked bike, powered by a long-stroke GSX-R1000-derived four-cylinder tuned for strong low and mid-range pull. It keeps the aluminium twin-spar frame, Brembo front brakes and a slipper-assist clutch, with ABS fitted. It was replaced by the redesigned Euro 5 model in 2021.
