The first GSX-S750 took the GSX-R750-based four-cylinder and retuned it for strong low and mid-range pull in an upright, street-focused naked package. It combined a tubular and twin-spar style frame with inverted forks and a link-type rear shock. It was Suzuki's answer to middleweight nakeds such as the Yamaha FZ-09.
