The RG500 Gamma was Suzuki's road-going version of its 500 cc Grand Prix racer, with a liquid-cooled square-four two-stroke engine and disc-valve induction. It was light, very fast and demanding, with little power low down and a hard rush near the top of the rev range. Production fell sharply after the launch year.
