The SV1000S is the half-faired sport version of Suzuki's 996 cc V-twin, built around an aluminium truss frame and fully adjustable suspension. It aims for strong mid-range pull and relaxed all-day sport riding rather than outright track focus. The 2005 model continued with the 11.6:1 compression and black frame and wheels.
