The 2003 redesign gave the SV650 a new generation with a stiffer cast aluminium frame and, according to Wikipedia, fuel injection in place of carburettors. The 645 cc V-twin kept its easy-going character and the naked N sat beside the half-faired S. It stayed a favourite for new riders and for budget racing.
