The Bandit 350 (T35R) was a small all-alloy twin-cam, five-speed 349 cc twin, essentially the BSA Fury under a Triumph badge, and the factory's last attempt to take on Japanese small bikes. The T35R had the low-level chrome exhaust. It was praised for finish and quiet running, while the rear drum brake and footpeg position drew criticism.
