The 2006 Speed Triple 1050 grew from the previous 955 cc triple by stroking the engine to 1050 cc, adding power and torque. It kept the naked streetfighter formula with twin headlights and a tubular aluminium perimeter frame, with upside-down forks and a short docked tail with twin upswept silencers.
