The 2016 Speed Triple was a major update with over 100 engine changes, a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle and a new ECU. It added five rider modes with traction control and switchable ABS, and a smaller engine and radiator package lowered the stand-over height. It was sold alongside the Ohlins-equipped R.
