The RS replaced the R for 2018 with an overhauled 1050 triple (105 new components, about 10 hp more) and a full-colour TFT dash. It added an IMU for cornering ABS and traction control, cruise control, keyless ignition, Arrow silencers and Öhlins suspension, and was around 3 kg lighter than the S.
