The S is the standard-suspension version of the re-engineered 2016 Speed Triple, with Showa forks and shock where the R gets fully adjustable Ohlins. It shares the new 1050 cc engine with over 100 revised parts, ride-by-wire, five riding modes, traction control and switchable ABS. Colours offered were Diablo Red and Phantom Black.
