The 1200 Speed Twin is a sporty, lighter roadster built on the 1200 Bonneville engine with a low-inertia crank and high-compression head, rated at about 96 hp. Its frame is derived from the Thruxton R and it is said to weigh over 22 lb less than a Thruxton and nearly 60 lb less than a T120. It has Brembo front brakes, Sport/Road/Rain modes, traction control, a minimalist bench seat and brushed aluminium detailing.
