The 5T Speed Twin was Edward Turner's 500 cc parallel twin that launched at the 1937 show and reshaped Triumph's fortunes. Compact, light and quick for its day, it pulled British buyers from singles toward twins and set the layout for decades of British motorcycles. Early bikes had a girder fork, a rigid frame and an Amaranth red or black finish with gold lining.
