The Sprint ST was Triumph's 1999 entry into the sports-touring class, aimed at Honda's VFR800. It combines the 955 cc three-cylinder engine with an aluminium twin-spar frame, a single-sided swingarm and luggage integrated into the bodywork. Reviews praised engine and economy but criticised seat padding and vibration.
