The Street Triple R was the up-specced version of the 675 cc naked triple, borrowing radial Nissin brakes and fully adjustable Kayaba suspension from the Daytona 675. A tapered aluminium bar and new colours set it apart from the standard Street Triple. It was launched on the Isle of Man and was expected to account for roughly a third of Street Triple output.
