The T150 Trident was Triumph's three-cylinder 750, launched as the British industry's answer to the coming wave of Japanese fours. This first version had drum brakes front and rear, a four-speed box and kick start. Fast and good handling, it was soon overshadowed by Honda's CB750. A near-twin BSA Rocket 3 was sold alongside.
