Triumph file

The pre-war Tiger 100 was the sportier sibling of the Speed Twin, with forged alloy pistons, a one-piece cylinder, a single carburettor and a bigger tank. Triumph promoted it with a John o'Groats to Land's End run in 1939 followed by high-speed laps at Brooklands, and production halted when the Coventry works were bombed in 1940.
