The 1970 TR6C was the high-pipe, off-road styled twin of the Trophy range, built for the American desert and scrambles market. Compared with earlier years it lost the adjustable chain oiler, gained a lower seat pan and a reshaped rear mudguard that carried the breather hose, and it used new instruments.
