The 1976 Tiger 750 was the single-carb sibling of the Bonneville, built at Meriden during the troubled co-operative period. It was little changed from 1973 apart from hydraulic discs, a left-side gear lever, new silencers and green-and-ivory tank paint. Testers liked its relaxed low-speed power but disliked the added weight.
