Triumph file

Triumph's first four-cylinder 600 supersport, the TT600 was the Hinckley firm's attempt to take on the Japanese in the middleweight class, with an aluminium twin-spar frame, fuel injection and adjustable suspension. Handling and brakes were praised, but early fuel injection gave flat low-rev running and the styling divided opinion. Later model years saw revised mapping and engine parts that improved drivability.
