The first 125 followed the 98 and brought rear suspension and a larger engine. Aircraft-style front suspension, a unit engine and gearbox with no chain, and quick-release car-style wheel nuts made it practical. The 1949 model added a centre stand and key lock; the 1950 model got a new carburettor, silencer and adjustable headlight. Nicknamed the Fenderlight 125.
