The large-frame 125 of the Nuova Linea era, which debuted as the P125X at the 1977 Milan show. It had a squarer, larger body, more storage, a better saddle and a new speedometer, and its front damper was linked to the brake shoe holder to reduce dive under braking. It stayed in production for about two decades with only minor changes and became one of Piaggio's best sellers.
