The GTR was the sporty 125 of the Vespa small-frame line from 1968, a quicker sibling of the 125 GT/Sprint with a disc-valve engine and larger 10-inch wheels. It carried the usual pressed-steel monocoque with grip-shift four-speed gearbox and drum brakes. Production was around 45,000 units according to the source.
