The Cosa replaced the PX with a more plastic-bodied, modern look while keeping the pressed-steel monocoque and a 200 cc two-stroke engine that is virtually the PX unit. Changes included a new gearbox, under-seat storage and a front-wheel anti-lock braking system. The Cosa 2 followed in 1992 with a revised seat, tail light and clutch.
