The Elestart was the 50 with an electric starter, an unusual feature on a 50 cc scooter at the time. Batteries sat on the left of the engine and the first series kept a three-speed box; a second series from 1975 moved to four speeds. It was marketed partly at women riders and is regarded as ahead of its time.
