The GTS 300 ie raised the large-frame Vespa to a 278 cc injected engine, keeping the steel monocoque and classic styling with 12-inch alloy wheels and disc brakes front and rear. A US road test found it strong around town and on the freeway, with quick steering but a slightly jouncy front end.
