The 2017 FZ-09 was the mid-life update: ABS became standard, with an assist-and-slipper clutch, two-mode traction control, LED headlights and tail light, a fully adjustable inverted fork, a revised seat and new radiator scoops. The 847 cc triple itself was unchanged. It is the last year the North American bike carried the FZ-09 name before becoming MT-09.
