The FZ8 is Yamaha's naked middleweight four, built around a 779 cc inline-four with a diamond frame derived from the FZ1 and sold in Europe also as the semi-faired Fazer8. It aims at riders wanting sportbike handling and torque without a full fairing. The 2012 model carries over unchanged, with a quoted consumption figure added.
