The FZR750 was the full-faired successor to the FZ750, carrying the five-valve 749 cc engine in an aluminium twin-spar frame with a 17-inch front wheel and 320 mm front discs. It was more race-focused, with fully adjustable Kayaba suspension and a faster listed top speed.
