The MT-07 LA is the learner-approved variant of the 2021-generation MT-07 for riders on restricted licences in Australia and New Zealand. It uses a reduced 655 cc version of the twin with lower compression and a power cap of about 52 hp, while keeping the new bodywork, LED lighting, 298 mm front discs and wide bars of the full-power bike.
