The MT-10 was Yamaha's flagship naked bike, replacing the FZ1 with a crossplane inline-four derived from the 2015 YZF-R1 but tuned for stronger low and mid-range torque. It sold under the FZ-10 name in North America. The 2016-17 version has the original styling with non-functional air scoops.
