Liquid-cooled two-stroke twin inspired by Yamaha's TZ250 racer, sold as the RD250LC (RZ250 in Japan). It brought Monocross rear suspension, cast wheels and markedly more performance than the air-cooled RD, becoming a favourite of UK learner riders. The 1981 listing repeats the 1980 figures.
