A small 97 cc air-cooled two-stroke single with oil injection and a five-speed box, the RS 100 was a cheap, light commuter in Yamaha's lower range. It uses drum brakes at both ends and conventional telescopic forks with twin rear shocks. Aimed at everyday transport rather than sport.
