The fourth-generation maxi-scooter grew its twin from 499 cc to 530 cc with a 2 mm larger bore, and swapped the old chain final drive for a V-belt with a die-cast aluminium swingarm. Styling, seat, dash and rear disc were all reworked, and ABS was available. It remained the sporty, big-wheeled benchmark of the maxi-scooter class.
