The first-generation TZR125 was a small liquid-cooled two-stroke sports bike with a boxy single-headlight fairing, clip-on bars and a single seat. It used conventional telescopic forks, a rear Monocross shock and a drum rear brake. Aimed at learner-age riders, it gave a taste of racer styling in a light, cheap package.
