The WR250R is Yamaha's street-legal dual-sport, built from WR and YZ off-road know-how around a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 250 single with titanium intake valves, ECU-controlled EXUP and a six-speed gearbox. It uses an aluminium semi-double-cradle frame, long-travel suspension and electric start only. It sits closer to the dirt than its WR250X supermoto sibling. Mechanically unchanged from the launch years; changes in this period were mainly cosmetic.
