The WR250R is Yamaha's street-legal dual-sport, built from WR and YZ off-road know-how around a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled 250 single with titanium intake valves, ECU-controlled EXUP and a six-speed gearbox. It uses an aluminium semi-double-cradle frame, long-travel suspension and electric start only. It sits closer to the dirt than its WR250X supermoto sibling. The 2013 model carried on unchanged and is pitched at riders who spend more time off-road than on tarmac.
