A purpose-built Dakar 2015 bike for the Yamaha Factory Racing team (Pain, Botturi, Metge), replacing the YZ450F Rally. Changes included a single carbon-fibre fuel cell instead of several tanks, an electric starter, a six-speed gearbox, an Akrapovic exhaust and new bodywork, after testing in Sardinia.
