For 2007 the XJR1300 switched to fuel injection with a 4-2-1 exhaust, catalytic converter and oxygen sensor to meet Japan's 2007 emissions rules. Peak torque rose from 98 to 108 Nm and came lower in the rev range. Other changes were revised Ohlins shock settings, new front suspension tuning, radial tyres, a new seat, bars, LED tail light and illuminated meter.
