The XV950 is the standard version of Yamaha's air-cooled 60-degree V-twin bobber-style cruiser, known as the Bolt in the US. It has a low seat, belt drive and simple, stripped-back styling inspired by 1980s Yamaha customs, and was pitched as a base for personalising.
