The R-Spec is the up-market version of Yamaha's compact 942 cc bobber-style cruiser, sold in the US as the Star/V-Star Bolt. Over the standard Bolt it adds piggyback-reservoir rear shocks, a textured seat and different paint and graphics, on the same air-cooled V-twin with belt drive. Low seat and short wheelbase make it an easy urban cruiser.
