The YZ450F is Yamaha's full-size four-stroke motocross bike. This eighth-generation version, introduced for 2023, has a reworked dry-sump engine with a higher rev limit and a lighter, refined aluminium chassis, aimed at making the bike easier to ride fast. It is sold in Team Yamaha Blue and as a Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Edition in different livery, with the same mechanicals; the Monster Energy edition (2021 - 2025), 60th Anniversary (2016), Team Replica (2009) and 50th Anniversary (2024) liveries are listed as siblings on this page and are cosmetic editions of the base model.
