The 2021 R1 continues the 2020 redesign with its crossplane 998 cc four, ride-by-wire throttle, IMU-based rider aids, TFT dash and aluminium Deltabox frame. Mechanically it is unchanged from 2020; the R1M remains the one with electronic Ohlins suspension and data logging.
