The R9 is Yamaha's 2025 flagship in its R series supersport range, built around the 889 cc CP3 triple shared with the MT-09. It uses an aluminium Deltabox frame, fully adjustable KYB suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes, with near 50/50 weight distribution. A six-axis IMU controls traction, slide, lift and brake control, and the styling carries R-series cues including MotoGP-style front winglets and a 5-inch TFT dash.
